Another World Champs for Emiel
Congratulations to Emiel Temmerman, who has followed his 2013 Ironman World Championship 70.3 qualification just prior to Christmas with a sub-10 hour Ironman in New Zealand in early March to qualify for the big one, the 2013 Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Well done mate!

HTC encourages all members to join Triathlon Australia & TriNSW (one membership covers both).
There are a number of reasons you should do this including:
- Public liability and personal accident insurance while racing and training.
This is quite important especially the public liability cover;
- Eligibility to race for HTC at Club Champs;
- Cheaper race entries and priority entry into a number of races;
- A package of membership benefits which include discounted magazine subscriptions, Scody gear and bike insurance; and
- Your membership fees help fund the sport and allow TA & TriNSW to sanction all the races you do, lobby various bodies to ensure races can be run and to support HTC and the other clubs.

2013 TriNSW Club Championships
TriNSW has confirmed that the 2013 Club Championships will be held on Saturday April 6th at Forster.
This is the weekend after Easter, the weekend before the start of the school holidays and a full 4 weeks before Ironman Australia, so there are no excuses to miss it this year.
With the contract for the Sydney olympic distance race not being renewed, Club Champs is also the only major race in April, so put the date into your diary and enter here once you've sorted out your TA/TriNSW membership.
