Help from the mechanically minded

Postby Michael McGeachie » Sat Nov 28, 2009 9:53 am

Bike guru's / Mechanics - here's my situation!!!

Yesterday scored a brand new frame which replaced my other 'Cell' frame. (A warranty issue). All very nice, but when they set it up the head set/ stem is obviously in a different position to previous.

I had the same issue on my other bike and the bike shop fixed it fairly quickly to suit my reach (Must have short arms).. Time is main issue. Nepean tomorrow and kid stuff today.

Stoney has been very generous and lent me his TT bike which i will still use at Nepean

BUT if it is an easy and quck task to fix possibly someone could assist me at Penrith prior to the race in the morning.

ANYONE?? - I obbviously have Stoney's speed machine if the job is not as simple as I've been informed.

Michael

Sorry to have missed your post before the race.

Unfortunately I am a techno void and unlikely of any use.

Good result with the race and the warranty though!
