| An excellent field of 16 for the main race and 8 for the kids race fronted up for the Christmas edition of the Friday Night Biathlon.
With Sarah G absent Adrian was back to the top of the swim times with Sarah R the fastest female in the water.
It was good to see Steve L, Michelle, and Wally and Josh Phillips race for the first time this summer series.
Speaking of the Phillips', Wally put in an excellent effort to take 2nd swim split and 3rd run split to finish 3rd outright, just 10 seconds behind Adrian.
Young Josh competed in the main race and was 15th out of the water but charged through the field with the 7th fastest run split to finish 11th. Well done Josh!
Andrew J had the fastest run split to be the 3rd winner from 4 races this summer.
Series Results: 11 of the 16 competitors were members and therefore eligible for points and handicaps.
Nev and Gracinda both smashed their handicaps by almost 2% and Frances beat hers by well over 1% also.
Adrian and Tony were the others to beat their handicaps.
Steve L and Michelle raced for the first time this summer so received 5 points each and a new handicap.
Adrian has extended his lead over Sarah R from one point to seven and Tony has overtaken Andrew J and grabbed a share of second with Sarah.
Nev's big improvement has pushed him into fifth, with Michael sixth and Carolyn now the second female with 41 points.
Remember, no points or handicaps for non-members.
