| We had 3 more first timers this week out of a field of 13.
Again it was Sarah G fastest out of the water in a very quick 7:14, with Adrian the only other one under 8 minutes (7:48).
Out on the road it was scorching!
It was possibly the fastest ever run leg with 3 run splits under 15 minutes and another one under 16 - Well done to Martin (14:24), Sarah G and Brendan (both 14:39) and Andrew J (15:56).
Congratulations to Sarah Greenwood whose 21:53 set a new female course record, breaking Bec Wilson's record from last year by almost a minute!
Series Results: Only 3 of this weeks competitors had a previous handicap.
Everyone else was either racing for the first time this summer or was not a club member.
Sarah R and Andrew J beat their Handicaps by a bit over 1% and Adrian was a bit slower than his.
Martin, Gracinda, Nev and Karen all raced for the first time this season so got 5 points and an initial handicap.
It's nice and tight at the top at the moment with Adrian on 36, Sarah R and Cath on 35, and Andrew J and Dan on 33.
Remember, no points or handicaps for non-members.
