Friday Night Biathlon Series 06/07 - Event 5 - January 5th 2007
Hornsby Tri Club kicked off the new year with the best turnout for the season - 14 competitors eager to start 2007 with a bang. The hot weather saw everyone keen to get in the water and not so enthusiastic about the run, however this didn't stop a number of excellent times being recorded.

There were 3 first time competitors - Michelle, Toby and Anthony - all of who recorded great times, especially Michelle who led the women into the finish.

Congratulations to Darren Milligan who has taken out the season record (previously held by Rebecca Wilson) with a cracking time of 22:31.

The new year has also seen a change in the scoreboard with Adrian and John Shields jumping Chris Curran into equal first position. It's still very tight though and we're only just at the half way point. The full points score is here.
