Friday Night Biathlon Series 06/07 - Event 3 - December 1st 2006
A hot evening greeted another good turnout for the third Biathlon of the season. We had 4 competitors racing for the first time this season including new member Caterina Shankland. Welcome to HTC Caterina!

Claire taking over the timekeeping duties allowed president Steve Hume to compete for the first time this season and predictably he put in a scorching effort, taking the fastest run split by over a minute and a half, and coming first overall by two and a half minutes!

The heat seemed to affect most people with only one series PB recorded, Adrian by 7 seconds. The most consistent competitior so far this season is undoubtedly John Shields, who has raced all three events so far with all three of his times within 10 seconds.

Despite recording his slowest time of the series so far, Chris Curran remains the points score leader. He leads Adrian and John by 1 point, with Phil Thomson a further point back. The full points score is here.
