Friday Night Biathlon Results from Event 8 - 17th February, 2006

Another fantastic turn out to the Biathlon. The largest field of the season turned out and many records tumbled !!!

Highlights from Race 8 :

Welcome to Joel O'Hara and Darren Milligan who competed at their first biathlon of the season. Both performed very strongly, with Darren setting a course record for this season (22:35).

Barbara Hill broke the women's course record (again!!) in 24:25. Well done !!

Congratulations to David Everdell and Neville who took over a minute off their PBs. Some other big PBs came from Martin and Anne.

The chase for the leaders position has got a bit hotter as well. Chris Curran moved up on the leaders by setting a big PB. While our leader, Sam, had trouble keeping his PB performances continuing, Andrew Jeppesen had no trouble setting a new PB and has managed to reduce the gap to Sam.
